Welcome to 2010
The craft frenzy carries on into 2010 and most local breweries are trying to keep up by expanding their often undersized facility. At the same time they are often running out of beer creating a push for product that hasn't been seen in a long time. Some standouts like The Famous Pliney from Russian River Brewing have created an almost eerie demand. The customers are often frothing at the mouth on mere mention. It is exciting for everyone who seeks a quality beer in their pint.
In the old days it was Snowcap or Sierra Celebration creating the scarcity buzz, now small breweries can use the heightened demand to fuel interest in the products they make.
It is all good for craft beer folks
